Team Matrix on the Road to Dressage at Devon
Team Matrix members will be on site this year at one of America's premier
dressage competitions – Dressage at Devon. The world-class event will
be held Sept. 23-28 in Devon, Pennsylvania and Team Matrix members, including
Matrix Vice President Keith Manfred, will be there.
"We're excited to be joining the many riders and breeders from around
the world who will be gathering at Dressage at Devon this year," Manfred
said. "Devon is the most popular dressage competition in the U.S. and
all of us at Team Matrix are happy to be a part of this wonderful event."
Dressage at Devon is now in its 34th year and it's long been considered one
of the most prestigious dressage competitions in the U.S. Part of what makes
Devon so special is that competition consists solely of CDI classes, meaning
international competition. The bulk of competition is held in the historic
Dixon Oval ring where the surrounding grandstands are filled to capacity on
Saturday evening for the popular Grand Prix Freestyle.
Dressage at Devon also features one of the largest open breed shows in the
world, drawing most of America's top breeders who gather to show off their
future dressage stars. Competitors and spectators both have called Dressage
at Devon the one American show that is most similar to the major European competitions.
'Bored' is never a word heard at Devon. In addition to hosting many of the
best horses and riders in the world, Devon also plays host to one of the largest
equestrian trade fairs found at any American show.
And this year, Team Matrix members will be there for it all providing both competitors
and spectators with the perfect opportunity to ask questions and learn more about
